The 3-year Manufacturer's Warranty for Frames.
The Deskmill only sells quality products at attractive prices. This enables us to offer our customers a 3-year manufacturer's warranty on the frame, and a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on other electrical components and desktops, in addition to the statutory warranty. Requirements and details for making use of our warranty services are governed by our warranty conditions below:
The Deskmill Chairs
All ergonomic chairs purchased from our website are covered by a 3-year defect warranty.
Other Products
All products you purchase from our website, with the exception of desks and ergonomic chairs, are covered by a 1-year warranty.
1. General
In addition to the statutory warranty period, we give our customers a manufacturer's warranty of 3 years for desk frames sold by The Deskmill, unless a different manufacturer's warranty is stated for individual products in the product description or in The Deskmill 's offer. The manufacturer's warranty applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions, such as those under the Product Liability Act or in cases of intent or gross negligence.
2. Warranty Protection
We guarantee that our products are free from material, manufacturing and construction defects upon delivery. The state of science and technology at the time of manufacture is decisive in this respect. The product must already have exhibited the defect which caused the damage relevant to the guarantee at the time of delivery. Claims for compensation for consequential damage or from product liability exist only in accordance with the mandatory statutory provisions.
The manufacturer's warranty for the frame is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period shall not be extended or interrupted due to the provision of services under this warranty, in particular not due to repair or replacement. The guarantee period does not start anew in these cases.
3. Written Notice of Defects
The customer must inspect the goods immediately after delivery and, if a defect is found, notify The Deskmill in writing (by post, fax or e-mail) without delay, but no later than 30 days after delivery. Otherwise, the goods shall be deemed to have been approved, unless the defect was not recognisable during the inspection. If such a defect becomes apparent later, the notification must be made immediately, at the latest one week after the defect became apparent to the customer; otherwise, the goods shall be deemed to have been approved even in view of such a defect. The presentation of the invoice is mandatory as proof of the warranty claim.
4 Services in the Event of a Warranty Claim
For defects reported in time, The Deskmill will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price paid. The Deskmill may refuse to repair any defect until the customer has paid a reasonable portion of the purchase price in consideration of the defect.
Normally, the customer will receive a replacement of the defective product or component. In the case of an exchange, the old product / component will be replaced free of charge by a new product / component of the same kind, quality and type. The defective product/component shall be returned to Vernal by the customer upon The Deskmill's request. If the affected product / component is no longer manufactured at the time the defect is reported, Vernal shall be entitled to supply a similar product / component in exchange.
Any return shipment to The Deskmill, any removal and reinstallation of the Product / Component or any other special action may be taken only with The Deskmill's prior consent. If The Deskmill agrees to the proposed action, The Deskmill shall bear the costs incurred in carrying out the action.
If The Deskmill elects to refund the purchase price and confirms this in writing, the customer will return the Product and The Deskmill will refund the purchase price paid.
5. Preconditions and Exclusions
The effectiveness of this guarantee is conditional upon proper installation and maintenance in accordance with the operating instructions and the recognised rules of technology (e.g. by a master craftsman or an authorised specialist company) as well as compliance with the operating instructions and the use of The Deskmill products in accordance with Vernals' technical instructions.

The Warranty does not Cover:
Minor deviations of The Deskmill products from the nominal condition which have no influence on the utility value of the product;
Overvoltage caused by lightning, operating and handling errors, damage caused by aggressive environmental influences, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
The Validity of the Guarantee Ends in the Event Of:
Failure to comply with the assembly and operating instructions provided with your order;
Installation, maintenance, repair or care by non-expert persons;
Product damage caused by the installer or third parties;
Damage caused by normal wear and tear or deliberate damage; in the event of damage caused by negligence, contributory negligence shall be taken into account by mutual agreement;
Improper installation or commissioning;
Lack of or faulty maintenance;
Products that have not been or are not being used in accordance with their intended purpose;
Products that are not used in their original manner or have been modified for use;
Damage caused by force majeure or natural disasters, including but not limited to floods, fires or frost damage.
